This was a pretty simple project especially after the waterwheel. We built the box then the lid. Now it's just a matter of putting the two together. Place the lid on the box and line up the back and the two sides. Mount the lid to the box using two 2" hinges and screws. On one side mount a lid support to hold the lid up while you are working inside. This can be a brass support as shown here or you can make a simple one out of a piece of 2" x 2". ![]() I hope you enjoyed this little project and will be able to get an early start on you spring planting. Next week I have some modifications that Frank, my father-in-law incorporated into his cold frame.
