This is from Ken:

  • 1 Lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 1/2 Cups Milk
  • 2/3 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Cup Sliced Mushrooms
  • 1/4 Cup Dry Vermouth
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 4-6 Toasted English Muffins

Melt the Butter, add flour while slowly stirring for 2-3 minutes.
Add Milk and stir constantly until it thickens.
Add Parsley, Salt and Pepper, Mushrooms and Vermouth.
Stir until well blended.
Remove from heat.
Brown the Hamburger and drain off the fat.
Stir the sauce into the Hamburger and serve over the English Muffins.
For looks, garnish with fresh Parsley.

I don't know why this is called a drinking mans SOS but it sure is good and easy to make. Give it a shot and tell me what you think.
