HOLIDAY RIBBON SALAD

If you are looking for something to take to that family Thanksgiving potluck this might be just perfect. You need to think for a second about how you are going to serve this salad. If you are going to serve it in a glass dish make it as follows. If you are going to flip it out onto a serving plate make the red part first and then the green.

  • 1 3oz. Package of Lime Jello
  • 1 Cup Crushed Pineapple (crushed)
  • 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 8 oz. Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Nuts (chopped)
  • 1 3oz. Package of Cranberry or Strawberry Jello
  • 1/2 Cup Jellied Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
Follow the directions for the Lime Jello.
Chill half way so the Pineapple will suspend in it when mixed.
Mix in Pineapple.
Pour into round mold pan or glass dish and chill firm.
Mix Mayonnaise, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, and nuts.
Spread over the Lime Jello.
Mix the Cranberry Jello per the directions except replace 1/2 cup of cold water with the 1/2 cup of Cranberry Sauce. Make sure that it is really cold before adding to the Jello.
Pour the Jello over the Cheese mixture and chill.

Your friends and family will really like this holiday taste treat.
