Pumpkin Bars

      As we continue into the Fall season we thought you'd like this wonderful recipe from Marilyn's mom, Betty. Betty passed away last year but her wonderful recipes live on as well as a lifetime of wonderful memories.

  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 16 ounce Can Pumpkin
  • 1 Cup Oil
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/2 Cup Nuts

Mix all ingredients together.
Pour into a greased and floured Jelly Roll Pan, 12" X 18".
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes.
They are even better with a cream cheese frosting on top.

Cut into squares and serve at your Halloween party or dinner.
