Indoor Mailbox Project

SETP 1

I made this box out of 3/4" fir but you can use your favorite wood. You can also make it out of thinner wood but if you do be sure to change the dimensions to that the thinner material into account. The pictures below are really hard to see so just click on them to see a bigger one.
The base is 9 15/16" X 3 1/2".

The sides are 3 1/2" wide, 6 1/4" in the back and 4 13/16" in the front. The angle is 22 1/2 degrees.

The front is 4 13/16" X 11 1/2". Cut the top edge 22 1/2 degrees. This should make the front of the box 4 1/2" high.
The back is 6 9/16" high in the back.

The top is 6" X 11 1/2". I cut the back edge to 67 1/2 degrees so that it will be flush with the back of the box.

Cut all the pieces and next week we'll put them all together and finish the box.

Step 2 - Assemble the Box
