Dad's Dresser Basket

This is a simple little project that might just make a good Father's Day gift. Dads always need places to put things like keys, change, pocket knives, etc. Rather than just throwing them all over the dresser give him this basket so everything will be in one place.

Here is a list of the things you will need.

  • A small basket.
  • Pinecones or you could use sea shells.
  • Hot melt glue. Be careful so you don't burn yourself. You might want to get some adult help with this.

Try to find pinecones or shells that will fit around the edge of the basket.
Carefully glue each pinecone or shell to the rim of basket. Hold each one in place until the glue sets up.
Put a gift certificate to his favorite hardware store in it and you're ready to go.

Like we said, very simple but puts a big smile on dad's face.

We hope you liked this project. If you build it and your friends ask where you got such a clever idea, please tell them that you got it at RunnerDuck.com.
